I’ve found the site a helpful way to get rid of unwanted items and the £50 pound is just a lovely little surprise to add to the bank account for Christmas.

Thats right to be in with a chance of winning £50 in cash (or paid though PayPal its up to you) all you need to have is a least 1 live advert, the more live adverts you have the better your chances. Anyone found to be listing the same item more than once may be removed from the draw.

Terms and conditions

This competition is open to Island residents you must either live or work on the Isle of Wight. One winner will be chosen at random from anyone who has a live ad on Wighttrader.net on the 31st of October 2011. This is a free prize draw, no purchase necessary. One winner will win £50 . Deadline for competition entries is 00.00am 31st October 2011. Winner will be chosen on Monday 31st October 2011 and will be notified by email. Chosen winner will have until 5th of November to respond to us or another winner may be chosen. The prize can either be picked up from our office or can be paid using PayPal. By entering this competition you agree to be contacted by Wighttrader for any future promotions.

You can now keep track of important ads by saving them to your “Saved ads” list, where a single click will take you direct to the saved ad.

You can also see your saved ads in your dashboard and on the home page.

I have just updated the site to show a large sold icon on sold ads so its easy to see whats still for sale.
